We would like to share some important news with our patients.

After more than 55 years of caring for patients within our local community, Dr Arora will be retiring from general practice.

For more than five decades, Dr Arora has been a familiar, trusted and valued presence within the community, caring for generations of patients and families. Throughout this remarkable career, his dedication to patients, commitment to the local community and genuinely patient-centred approach have made a lasting difference to so many people.

We know that for many patients, this news will bring a mixture of emotions. For some, Dr  Arora has been the GP they and their families have known and trusted for many years. His knowledge, experience, kindness and continuity of care will be greatly missed, and we recognise what a significant loss this represents for our patients and for the wider community.

While retirement marks the end of an extraordinary chapter, it is also an opportunity to celebrate an exceptional contribution to general practice and to the health and well being of our community.

We would like to thank Dr Arora sincerely for their more than 60 years of service, dedication and commitment to patient care. Their contribution has helped shape the practice and the community we are privileged to serve.

Our commitment to you continues

Although we will be saying goodbye to a much-loved and highly respected GP, our commitment to providing excellent, compassionate and patient-centred care remains as strong as ever.

We have a dedicated and experienced team of GPs and other clinicians who will continue to provide care to our patients across both of our practice sites. Our aim is to ensure that patients continue to have access to safe, responsive and high-quality services, with continuity of care wherever possible.

We understand how important it is to know who is caring for you and to feel listened to and understood. Our clinical team will continue to work together to provide joined-up care, drawing on the experience and expertise of our wider practice team to meet the needs of our diverse patient population.

Our practice remains committed to:

  • Providing excellent clinical and patient-centred care
  • Maintaining accessible services across both practice sites
  • Supporting continuity of care wherever possible
  • Providing care through a dedicated and experienced multidisciplinary team
  • Listening to our patients and responding to the needs of our local community
  • Ensuring our services continue to evolve while retaining the values that have always been at the heart of our practice

We appreciate that change can be unsettling, particularly when it involves a GP who has cared for patients and families for such an extraordinary length of time. We will do everything we can to support our patients through this transition.

As we look ahead, we do so with gratitude for Dr Arora’s remarkable contribution and with confidence in the committed team who will continue to care for you.

Thank you, Dr Arora, for more than 55 years of service, dedication and care to our community. Your contribution will be remembered and greatly valued for many years to come.

With our very best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement.
