At West Heath Surgery we are committed to providing safe, effective care for all our patients. To do this, it is important that the information we hold about you is accurate and up to date.
Sometimes, GP practices have patients registered who have moved away or whose contact details are no longer correct. These are often referred to as “ghost patients”. When patient records are not kept up to date, it can make it more difficult to contact patients about appointments, test results, vaccinations, screening programmes, or important changes to their care. It can also affect how NHS services are planned and funded.
You can help by letting us know if you:
- Change your address.
- Change your mobile or telephone number.
- Change your email address.
- Move out of the practice area.
- Register with another GP practice.
Keeping your details up to date helps us ensure you receive the right care at the right time and allows NHS resources to be used effectively for the benefit of everyone.
If you think any of your contact information has changed, please contact our reception team or update your details using our online services. Thank you for helping us keep your medical records accurate and ensuring we can provide the best possible care.
