On December 19th 2024, representatives of West Heath Surgery and West Heath Primary Care Centre held a meeting with our Patient Participation Group. Our discussions during this meeting included:
- Details of the upcoming Practice Merger
- NHS app engagement and messages sent to patient
- The Surgery’s stance on SCA on medication from secondary providers
- Clarity on the BMA’s recommendations of GP’s ‘working to rule’
- Suggestions being made on outside maintenance of the Surgery
- Feedback over the Surgery’s services was also provided.
The PPG meetings held at the Surgery offer an invaluable opportunity for patients to offer their experiences and suggestions to help develop their Practice, whilst the Surgery can also offer insight to its operations and how we can work alongside our patients for an improved delivery of patient care.
